What is The Dirty Duck Fan Run?
From the moment you step on the course, you will certainly notice an Oregon FANCORE element to The Dirty Duck. Everywhere you turn you will see Oregon Duck fanatics dressed head-to-toe in their most outrageous Duck garb.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Ever wanted to look like a duck? Here’s your chance. There will be multiple “duck stations” along the 3.1 mile course. Duck stations include:
- Feathering: White, green and yellow feathers of course!
- Four Color Explosion Stations: Only green and yellow (Made in the USA, High Quality, Vibrant Colors, Designed Not to Stain, 100% Safe and Non-Toxic, Biodegradable)!
- Grand Finale: We will see you at the finish line!
Our course starts at the U of O Rec Center and finishes at the Wild Duck! Start the fun as fast or as slow as you want. Run or walk through our course and “Duck Stations”—experience it all at The Dirty Duck. Don’t be surprised if at ANY point along the course you are suddenly smattered or doused with green and yellow color explosions or showered with furry feathers. It’s been known to be a little dirty and just a bit murky (hint hint) on The Dirty Duck trail so be sure to dress appropriately. WHITE SHIRTS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
There will be two water stations throughout the course—gotta stay hydrated! Also, we will have a delicious spread waiting for you at our feed station at the finish. By delicious spread we mean bananas, bagels, chocolate milk and doughnut holes; did you really think we meant filet mignon?
We can’t tell you all of our dirty little secrets, but we can promise you will get a little dirty and a whole lot of colored (green and yellow obviously). You’ll just have to show up and see what else we have in store for Oregon’s most hard-core Fan Run. Remember, what happens at the Dirty Duck, stays at the Dirty Duck…Shhh.
-A DUCKED-out time!
-Fantastic Duck themed after party!
